Advanced Color Coating Process
In our meticulous process for coloring rubber keypads, we apply layers of color to the silicone surface with precision. For example, to create a keypad with a black background and white symbols, we start by spraying a white base layer onto the keypad. We then add a black layer to cover the white base. Laser etching is used to make the white symbols stand out, providing precise and clear results.
For multi-colored keypads, we ensure that colors do not mix by using extra keycaps to cover buttons that aren’t to be colored. This targeted approach ensures that the color coating only goes where intended, preventing unwanted color mixing. After completing the coating process, we remove these caps to reveal the rubber keys in their original vibrant colors, resulting in a high-quality, visually appealing final product.
